Undercover Heat

Fifth in the Heat series.

Undercover Heat was absolutely amazing story that I loved reading. I finished it in one day and I never wanted to put it down. The characters are real and lovable as they try to fight being mates. The situation that surrounds them is unusual but nature has had her say and she will not relent. Nick and Melody butt heads almost constantly and both try to fight their feelings. Melody eventually gives in to hers before Nick does because she knows that they are supposed to be mates. Nick and Melody are alphas in their own right and do not want to give anything up. Nick is confused about what has happened to him and is trying to cope as things escalate a little out of control. Both have amazing will power and do not like the idea of being out of control or being controlled by something else. As the two deal with their own dilemmas they also have to deal with the other persons. The trust has to be established. The storyline is great. It has the romance and the love but also the action that keeps the reader totally engaged. It is fast paced. The love scenes are hot, though not frequent. They are also detailed and very enjoyable.

The story reads seamlessly. This is the first book in this series that I have read and now I want to get the other stories in this series and will follow it. I greatly recommend this story to anyone who enjoys shapeshifting stories with action and true soulmates.
