For the first time in a long time Lacy is having problems even starting her new book. She'd researched and still she just was having problems writing a m‚nage a trios. It didn't matter she told herself it was just sex with an extra person. What is wrong with just two people? Lacy doesn't know but her fans are asking for more and she's going to give it her best to give it to them.
Marty her live-in boyfriend has an idea for her but it's going to take more than just mentioning it for Lacy to go for it. Back when they were in college, Lacy had a crush on Marty's best friend, Jerry. Jerry pretty much handed Lacy to Marty and no one looked back. Lacy loves Marty and Marty loves Lacy. Marty also has a past with Jerry that Lacy doesn't know about!
But after 15 years, can Marty interest Jerry making a threesome again? He wouldn't consider this with any other man but some how sharing with Jerry feels right. Besides, it will help Lacy with her research and as long as no one is pushing anyone else into something they don't want to do, it's all good. Right?
This wasn't a very long book but it sure punched a pack. This story is around 70 pages and yet the characters have some dimension, there is a plot and there is more than just hot sex.
Yes, there is plenty of hot sex. Marty and Lacy aren't lazy in that department at all and when they add Jerry, things only get better. If you can't stand graphic sexual play, don't bother to buy this book. It's hot, it's graphic and it's soooo good.
The characters are very well done especially for such a short book. Lacy doesn't just jump at the chance to do a m‚nage. She actually is very hesitant. She has no desire to mess up her relationship with Marty nor does she want to lose Jerry as a good friend. Jerry is cautious too. He wants to make sure Marty is okay with this, even though Marty is the one that suggests it. Marty wants to make Lacy happy. Bottom line and he thinks including Jerry in their relationship will make her happy.
I really enjoyed this book. It was more than just a research project, though the research that Lacy did helped tremendously in her book. You could see these characters come alive. You could understand their situations. It got me wrapped up in the story and I sure didn't want to put it down. Sure wish I could read the story Lacy wrote though.
Lacy Cunningham prides herself on being a prolific writer in the romance and erotica industry. However, for the first time, she’s stumped by her latest project—a ménage à trois. She’s doing everything to help get her creative juices flowing, from reading others works, buying non-fiction books on the subject to renting DVDs—everything short of participating in the act itself.
Her boyfriend, Marty and Jerry, her first crush from college, are more than willing to help her with her research. With Jerry arriving in town for vacation, Marty mentions the possibility of a ménage à trois, and Lacy mulls over taking her studies a bit further. But it’s going to take a lot of prodding on the guys’ part before she actually indulges in that kind of research.
