Calling the Shots

Long Shots

Good friends and sexual desires should be a perfect combination except when insecurities and past experiences get in the way.

Josh Scott owns a sex club and he sees two of his employees attracted to each other, Oliver Stephenson and Beth Norris and he wants to help get them together. Beth is attracted to Oliver and Josh and would love for her two good friends to connect. Oliver sees the desire Josh and Beth have for each other and wonders why they’ve never gotten together. It seems like this would be the perfect ménage except Oliver has never seen himself as bi, Beth has been fired before after having sex with her boss and Josh has been the third wheel in another relationship. As they work on figuring out their personal lives, someone is targeting clubs. Is it random vandalism or is someone actually after Josh and/or his club?

The characters go on an emotional roller coaster and take you along for the ride. You want to cheer and then scream and at some points, you’re almost ready to cry. Yet, you can’t put down this story because it has you in its grasp. The characters become real as do their feelings and lives. Glimpses into their pasts make the issues real. But, when they forget it all and come together, the sex is hot, wild and has a touch of tenderness. In other words, perfect.

This story is loosely tied to Christine D’Abo’s Long Shots series. The characters in this story were seen in the previous three books as minor secondary characters. There are a few scenes with characters from the previous books in this one but they don’t play a major role. Therefore, enjoy weather you’ve read previous books or not.

He's had a wild ride, and now sex club owner Josh Scott is looking for a change of scene. But first, he's determined to bring two friends together, and he's willing to be a third wheel to move things along...

Beth Norris is eager to be set up with hot bartender Oliver Stephenson, but she's equally attracted to matchmaker Josh. Soon she's fantasizing about both men at once—and about being the one to call the shots in the encounter...

Ready to move on with his life post-divorce, Oliver is conflicted by the realization that he's attracted to women and men. Or more specifically, to Beth and Josh. He tries to keep his distance, but it's not long before the chemistry between the trio combusts in a night of mind-blowing sex.

In the light of day, it's clear something deeper than desire is growing between Josh, Beth and Oliver. But though Josh has helped others find love in unconventional relationships, is he willing to take a chance on one himself?
