Freakn' Cougar

Freakin' Shifters, #6

Eve Langlais definitely makes her heroine and her readers purr with this smoking hot, paranormal adventure. I am never disappointed when I pick up a story by this author. She has a fine skill of keeping me concupiscent and chuckling. Having enjoyed the stories of Stu’s brothers and sister I have been wondering how this laid back wolf would handle finding his mate and I love how his story fit him like a glove, perhaps a latex glove during a body cavity search but a glove none the less. Ricky is the perfect foil to Stu’s shy, sensitive Beta personality and the two of them were made for Patricia. You can never go wrong with Alpha male bad boys and Ricky is so much more than the stereotype. As I grow older I find myself more attracted to mature heroines; not necessarily in age but in action and Patricia is an experienced and established woman. This is a must-read if you like laughter with your love as well as action and tons of playful personalities! I know I’ll enjoy reading it again and again.

Now is definitely not the time for Patricia to be distracted. Someone has gone on a killing spree of incarcerated shifters and she can’t take down the killer on her own. She recruits hacker and computer whiz Stu and convert criminal Ricky to go under cover in prison. Everyone is surprised to discover that the differing duo is Patricia’s mates. But having already loved and lost she isn’t willing to face the possibility of heartache again. Can the three of them work together to catch the killer and build a lifetime of happiness?

Book Blurb for Freakn' Cougar

Someone’s killing shifters in prison, and Patricia needs help catching the culprit. The cougar enlists the help of Stu and Ricky, a techno geek and a reformed criminal, a mismatched pair, who turn out to also be her mates. But Patricia’s already loved and lost one man. Does she dare allow herself to care again?

Older isn’t just wiser, it’s sexier, or at least that’s what a socially challenged wolf and a bad boy panther think. Forced to work together to catch a killer, Stu and Ricky soon find out they’ll have to learn to do more than tolerate each other when they realize one hot forty-something cougar is their mate. Can they find a way to work together and make their cougar purr?
