Mate Hunger

Book two in the Ra's Chosen series.

Set, one of Ra's chosen warriors that fight the undead has no desire to follow his leader Mehen and take a mate. Not interested in the least....until he meets the blonde that wants nothing more than to continue kneeing him in the groin.

Desiree has been watching Set from the sidelines for months now. Every time he comes into her bar she drools over her secret crush. But after witnessing a scene from an old vampire movie play out with Set in the lead she wants nothing to do with him and his gorgeous looks and lustful feelings swirling inside her...right?

What a fabulous follow up to book one in the series. The more and more I read about these boys the more I fall in love with them. I really liked the flow of the book and the little hints telling us that the undead seem to be working on bigger plan that we haven't seen yet.

I loved that Desiree was so determined to escape and go about living her own life. I think it really showed how perfect of a mate she is for Set. The heat between those two was intense. I love the series so far and I can't wait for the next book.

I am still totally and utterly in love with Takan and would like to know what I can do to become his mate! I highly recommend the series to anyone looking for a good read but be warned, once a Warrior sinks his fangs into'll never want them to let go.

Book Blurb for Mate Hunger

Set is a warrior chosen by the sun god Ra to protect mortals from the undead who hunt them. That is what he knows. Unfortunately, having watched his leader, a fellow warrior, succumb to a destined mate, Set also knows he will someday suffer the same fate. Set doesn’t need nor want a mate. He’s just fine on his own, thank you very much. But when a spitfire of a woman is thrust into his life, whose sole mission seems to be to knee him in the groin and escape every chance she gets, he’s intrigued. A lot.

Desiree may have lusted after Set from afar for months, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to go willingly with the behemoth of a man spouting a whole bunch of garbage about immortality, an ancient Egyptian god and her destiny as his mate. No doubt he’s two bricks short of a load. But when they touch, passion like she’s never known consumes her. Perhaps he’s not so crazy after all…
