A standalone story in the Cougar Challenge series.

Part of a group of women committed to taking control of their sexuality, Lori Donovan is kind of in a pickle. She’s moved back to her small hometown, and the chances of her finding a young stud are slim. But then she meets Jackson Blue who is drilling for oil on her land. After one look, she’ll let him drill anything he wants, including her. But what are the odds a hot young thing like him would be interested in a divorcee like her?

Jackson can’t believe his eyes when he meets Lori. She’s a real woman, not a girl, and has the curves to prove it. He pursues her with all he’s worth and is thrilled when she’s receptive. The sex is amazing, but it’s more than that. At least for him.

With all the hormones flying, this was a quick and satisfying read. Sexy and sensuous, Lori and Jackson clicked on more levels that just the physical. Lori’s lack of confidence was understandable, and I wish all women had an opportunity like this after a devastating divorce to reaffirm themselves as sexual, desirable beings, not something tossed aside in favor of something shiny and new. While Jackson was younger in years, he more than made up for it. Much more mature than her ex and loving and caring to boot, Lori got the better end of the deal. A nice addition to the Cougar Challenge series.

Book Blurb for Drilled

Length: Novella
Lori Donovan accepts the Cougar Challenge and pledges to snag a hot young stud, knowing it’ll be tough once she moves back to her Texas hometown. She expects barren plains and rattlesnakes but finds hunky Jackson Blue drilling for oil on her property instead. A driller. Hmm. Lori has a few ideas about that and just about all of them involve her poor, needy,  sex-starved body.
Jackson takes one look at the curvy, sexy, older woman and puts his expertise into action. After all, drilling is what he does best. Against the wall, on the floor or in the middle of her bed, he’s the man right man for the job. It’s a hot time in Texas when a tough, sexy drillin’ man meets a sassy cougar, and playing it safe just isn’t an option.
