Demon of Desire

For a short story, Demon of Desire was a pretty good read. I try not to read shorter novels because they always feel so rushed and the character development is minimal, but I liked Chole Waits setting for this story. I loved the idea of a masquerade/Halloween party that our main character, Sarah, gets to attend with her best friend. I thought the author spent more than enough time on the characters with the exception of Sarah’s long time crush neighbor, who happens to be her love interest other than the demon. I thought the cursed dress was a great idea and the story line in that sense was strong, but I still wanted more character development. It was a great quick read and, in my opinion, would have made for a great novel.
