Hi Michelle! Thanks for joining us on Night Owl Reviews. Please tell us about "Manifesting Miracles and Money: How to Achieve Peace, Purpose and Plenty Without Getting in Your Own Way".
Manifesting Miracles and Money is an opportunity for all of us to rise up and unite for peaceful co-existence, harmony, great abundance, and evolutionary advancement.
In this book you will learn exactly what has been holding you back. You will discover the thoughts and belief systems which make you stuck and therefore inhibit all of humanity, for we are all connected. Reading this book means that you already understand that we are one Spirit expressing as various creative souls, and as such, you comprehend the Law of Attraction and how to manifest. And yet, we take manifestation a step further, igniting the reader to manifest daily so as to give more to others. It is in this giving that we create movement in our own abundance, as it is a part of the “law” of circulation.
The Power of 10 are a group of wise, funny, engaging teacher spirits who have chosen not to come back to another lifetime of learning lessons the “hard” way—through suffering. They point to a different path to success in life, one where we may release our addiction to suffering and now learn through trust and faith. When we do choose to leave this body, we can be assured that there are literally billions of dimensions we may travel to, and that this is an entry-level existence to so much more!
What is your writing place like?
I have a laptop on my desk with several windows looking out over the trees and a pond:)
If your home a place of order or chaos?
Orderly chaos:) My housekeeper is here now, but I have post-it notes all over my desk.
When it comes to your first draft, do you write via computer or notepad? or Both?
I always write on my laptop, but I keep my phone handy to write notes when I'm feeling inspired and not at my desk.
Do you have any kids? Has your writing inspired them to read / write?
Yes, I have two daughters. One is grown and getting her teacher's credential. The other is a teenager. Both love to read and write, and both are/have been straight A students. I'm very proud of them!
What's next for you as an author?
My new book--the second in this series--will be out soon! It's called, "Peace is Power: A Course in Shifting Reality Through Science and Spirituality," and it's seriously the BEST thing I've ever written. Like ever! I'm reading the final proof now. I'm also working on the third book, which doesn't yet have a title, and I'm about 150 pages in so far...
We have a new reality TV show in development with Black Rock Entertainment called, "Don't Change The Channel." Stay tuned!
Do you like to cook?
Sometimes. I like it better when other people cook creatively. I have Celiac disease and am lactose intolerant, and so I must eat gluten and dairy free.
Do you have a newsletter? If yes, where can readers sign up?
Yes! Please sign up at www.WeAreThePowerOf10.com
Do you have any pets? If yes, do your pets play a part in your writing?
Yes, they are family! I have a little terrier mix that we rescued a few years ago named "Sunny," and two black sister cats who adore each other so much that we couldn't separate them from each other at the farm where we adopted them. In our free audio recordings on our website, you can often hear them being noisy! My dog sits on my lap as I write, and the cats sit on my husband's desk.
What's your favorite restaurant?
Sky Sushi--I could eat it every single day!
At what point did you know you wanted to publish a book?
I had a crush on my 8th grade English teacher who encouraged me to write. I wanted to write and publish books ever since! I was an English major in college, became a newspaper journalist and editor after I graduated, then wrote my books among various side jobs, including as a yoga studio owner, massage therapist, and psychic medium.
What is our favorite drink?
Do you feel music has inspired your writing?
Absolutely! I often listen to Pandora while I'm writing.
What's your day job like?
I usually write first thing in the morning before I have too much time to start "thinking," then I do a little yoga, meditate, go to the gym, and edit/market most afternoons. We lead big workshops and events on Saturdays, and local circles on Wed. or Thurs. evenings.
Is there a book you would recommend to other authors / aspiring authors to help them with their writing?
"On Writing" by Stephen King--and no, it's not a horror story!
What place is on the top of your to travel to list?
I want to travel to the Amalfi coast in Italy, the Maldives, and the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao) and Jamaica in the Caribbean.
Do you have any books that are on your must read bucket list?
Mine, lol. There are seriously too many books I adore to restrict it to a few!
What genres do you write in and what inspired you to write in these genres?
Non-fiction, Fiction, Self-Help, Screenwriting. I love all forms! It's fun to create in different voices and using differing skill sets!
It's been a pleasure having you on Night Owl Reviews.
