Hello Mel! Thanks for stopping over and chatting. We all want to know what your latest book is about? Who is Kadin? What's his story?
Kadin isn't just filthy rich with looks to boot, he's a shape shifter too. At any given time he can turn into a dragon.
He's got everything he wants except Grace, the one woman who is a rare dragon breeder. Grace is also the one woman who can expose his secret identity to the Paranormal Detection Agency she works for.
Now he just has to convince her to choose him over the PDA and escape together before it's too late.
What should readers expect from you titles?
Action, adventure and lots of heat
What's your writing process like?
Sporadic but I generally do at least 1k a day (except school hols etc)
Which authors do you follow religiously?
Too many to list, though not sure its quite at the religious stage yet lol
What books have you analyzed to help grow yourself as an author?
Stephen King's on writing, Angela Knight's Passionate Ink. Lots of others.
What's next for you as an author?
The rest of my Dragons of Riddich series - Asher releases the 19th of Jan, and then Baron will soon follow along with the rest. I also have another VIP Desire Agency book coming out with Tule (think of a Pretty Woman style of book), called Exclusive. Many other books on the horizon too!
What is your favorite way to procrastinate?
Getting a book to market often takes a village. Who has helped you on the way?
Critique partners, editors, cover artists and a lot of grit and determination
Do you have a favorite or interesting reader meet moment?
Not that I can think of - I'm obviously too much of a hermit!
If you could have dinner with an author, who would it be?
If you could travel to another time, would you choose past or future or would you stick where you are at? And Why?
The past. I'd love to be around in the biblical times and see how much of it is truth.
What's a writing day like for you?
While I'm waking up (so not a morning person) I check Facebook and emails before showering/breakfasting. Silly as it sounds, I tend to put on music and then write every second song and do my other work on the next song as it stops me sitting for too long
Do you feel music has inspired your writing?
Yes. The vibe of the music can definitely free the muse
What's your day job like?
Writing is my FT job, I love it!
Are you an introvert or extrovert?
Introvert - I love my space
What is your favorite or most fun place to shop online?
What's your best vacation experience?
I went to the USA when I was twenty, visited Disneyland, San Diego, Mexico, Las Vegas (grand canyon of course!!) and Hawaii - will never forget it.
What technological advancement could you not live without?
My phone - and not for phone calls lol
It's been a pleasure to have you on.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read about me, I hope my stories entertain you.
